Concrete, plant-specific data, not generic estimates
A RUF material test measures exactly how your waste stream behaves under real briquetting conditions, so you can make a decision on facts.
Briquette qualityDensity, dimensional consistency, and surface finish of the pressed briquette.
Throughput capacityThe maximum possible waste which can be processed per hour into briquettes under ideal moisture content conditions.
Coolant / liquid recoveryRecovery rate for metal and sludge materials, cooling oils and lubricants which you can reuse.
Recommended press modelThe exact RUF model and any special configuration or supplementary equipment.
Projected ROIBased on your disposal costs, resale values, and production volume.
THE TRANSFORMATION
Loose swarf
Dense briquette
THE RESULT
A clear, data-backed case for whether briquetting makes financial sense for your plant, before you commit to anything.
HOW IT WORKS
From sample to report in four steps
01
Tell us about your material
Complete the form with your details, material type, and estimated weekly volume. We’ll contact you within 24 hours.
02
Send your sample
We advise on the minimum quantity needed (typically 50-100kg, depending on material) and how best to package and ship it to RUF in Germany.
03
We run the tests
Our engineers press your material in the right RUF configuration and assess briquette quality, coolant yield, and throughput. Turnaround is typically 5–7 working days once it reaches the facility.
04
You receive your report
A full written report with results, the recommended machine model, and a projected ROI calculation for your waste stream. No obligation to proceed.
MATERIALS WE TEST
Not sure if your material qualifies? Let’s test it.
We currently test and advise on five core material families, and many more besides.
We’ve had success far beyond the usual suspects
A few of the more unusual materials we’ve pressed, and many more just ask us for a reference.
